Nothing Phone (4b) Launched at ₹34,999: Here’s Everything You Need to Know

Nothing Phone (4b)
Nothing has launched its first b-series smartphone in India, and the Phone (4b) is clearly aimed at buyers who want Nothing’s design and software experience without moving into the company’s higher-priced models. Starting at ₹34,999, it brings a 6,000mAh battery exclusive to India, a 120Hz Super AMOLED display and the company’s new Glyph Bar.
But the interesting part is that Nothing has not simply focused on battery size. The Phone (4b) also brings Essential AI features, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor and Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16.
Nothing Phone (4b) Price in India
The phone is available in two configurations:
| Variant | Price |
| 8GB + 128GB | ₹34,999 |
| 8GB + 256GB | ₹38,999 |
The Phone (4b) is available in Black, White and Blue. It went on sale in India through Flipkart and other retail partners from July 14. Launch offers have also brought the effective price down for eligible buyers.
The Biggest Highlight: 6,000mAh Battery
The battery is one of the main reasons the Phone (4b) stands out.
While the standard global model has a 5,200mAh battery, the Indian version gets a 6,000mAh battery. Nothing says the phone can reach 50% charge in under 30 minutes.
For people who spend hours watching videos, gaming or using mobile data, this could be one of the phone’s biggest advantages.
120Hz AMOLED Display
The Phone (4b) has a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
That means smoother scrolling, animations and gaming compared with a standard 60Hz panel.
What Is the Glyph Bar?
Nothing has changed its familiar Glyph system with the new Glyph Bar.
The lights on the back can show information such as timers, delivery updates, charging progress and notifications without requiring users to turn on the main display. Nothing says the new Glyph Bar is 40% brighter than the one on the Phone (3a) Pro.
Performance and Gaming
The phone is powered by an 8-core Snapdragon processor and includes a 4,400mm² cooling system.
Nothing claims up to 15% faster CPU performance, 25% better graphics performance and up to 240% faster AI processing compared with its reference device. It also supports up to 120fps gaming and 1,000Hz touch sampling.
Camera and AI Features
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The phone can record 4K video, while the 16MP front camera handles selfies.
On the software side, Nothing OS 4.1 brings Essential AI tools, including Essential Voice, Essential Space and Essential Search. Users can also create simple personalised apps through Essential Apps Builder.
