Oppo F35 Pro 5G launched in India with 144Hz Amoled display
OPPO F35 Pro 5G
OPPO has launched the F35 Pro 5G in India, bringing a premium set of features to its F-series lineup. The new smartphone combines a 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX processor, 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera and an 8,000mAh battery.
The OPPO F35 Pro 5G is also the more powerful model in the new F35 series, sitting above the standard F35 5G. While both phones share the large battery and selfie-focused approach, the Pro model gets a faster display, a more capable chipset, OIS on its primary rear camera and faster storage.
The phone starts at ₹45,999 in India and will go on sale from October 11 through OPPO’s India e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and offline retail stores.
OPPO F35 Pro 5G Price in India
The OPPO F35 Pro 5G comes in three configurations:
- 6GB + 128GB: ₹45,999
- 8GB + 128GB: ₹49,999
- 8GB + 256GB: ₹54,999
The phone is available in Sunrise Orange, Wave Blue and Twilight Brown colours. OPPO has also listed the device for pre-order ahead of its October 11 open sale.
The 8GB + 256GB model is the highest-end option and uses UFS 3.1 storage, while the phone does not support a memory card.
144Hz AMOLED Display
The biggest visual upgrade on the Pro model is its display.
The OPPO F35 Pro 5G features a 17.22cm 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels. It supports an adaptive refresh rate from 60Hz to 120Hz, with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz.
The panel supports 10-bit colour depth and 100% DCI-P3 coverage in both Standard and Natural modes. OPPO lists typical brightness at 800 nits and HBM brightness at 1,800 nits on its specification page.
OPPO’s product page additionally highlights up to 3,600 nits peak brightness, along with 2,160Hz PWM dimming. These figures use different testing conditions, so they should not be treated as the same brightness measurement.
For gaming and fast scrolling, the high refresh rate should make animations and supported content feel noticeably smoother than a conventional 60Hz panel.
50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera
OPPO is positioning the F35 Pro 5G as a Group Selfie Expert, and the front camera is central to that strategy.
The phone features a 50MP front camera with a 100-degree field of view, autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture. The wide field of view is designed to fit more people into a single selfie without requiring everyone to squeeze together.
OPPO also highlights a feature that automatically expands the view when more people enter the frame. The camera supports 0.6x framing for wider group shots and includes modes such as Portrait, Night, Panorama, Dual-view and Hi-Res.
The front camera can record 4K video at 30fps, which is another notable upgrade for users who create short-form videos, reels or vlogs using the front camera.
50MP Main Camera With OIS
The rear camera setup consists of a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
The 50MP main camera uses an f/1.8 aperture, autofocus and two-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS). The 8MP ultra-wide camera has a 116-degree field of view and autofocus.
OIS can help reduce camera shake when shooting handheld, particularly in low-light situations or while recording video.
The phone supports rear 4K video recording at 30fps, along with 1080p recording at up to 60fps. It also supports electronic and optical stabilisation for supported video modes.
OPPO has also included a dual-view video mode, allowing users to record using the front and rear cameras together.

Dimensity 7360 MAX Performance
The OPPO F35 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX, built using a 4nm process.
OPPO says the processor delivers a 30% improvement in CPU multi-core performance and a 35% improvement in GPU performance compared with the previous generation of Dimensity chip used as its comparison point.
The chipset uses an eight-core CPU and an Arm Mali-G615 GPU. The phone comes with 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, while storage options include 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1.
For sustained performance, OPPO has added a 5,000mm² SuperCool VC system designed to help dissipate heat during demanding workloads. This should be useful for gaming and extended camera recording sessions.
8,000mAh Battery With 80W Charging
Battery life is another major highlight of the F35 Pro 5G.
The phone packs an 8,000mAh typical-capacity battery, with a rated capacity of 7,780mAh. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging.
OPPO describes it as a six-year durable battery and says laboratory testing shows it can retain more than 80% battery health after long-term simulated use. These are manufacturer laboratory claims rather than a guarantee of identical real-world results.
OPPO’s own testing also lists up to 2.95 days of usage, up to 705.4 hours of standby and more than 15 hours of Instagram browsing. Actual battery life will naturally vary depending on brightness, network conditions, gaming and other usage patterns.
Built for Durability
The F35 Pro 5G is designed with durability as another major selling point.
The phone carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings according to OPPO’s India launch material. It also features a 360-degree Armour Body and military-grade shock resistance aimed at providing additional protection against accidental drops.
The handset measures approximately 162.6 × 77.6 × 8.4mm and weighs around 210 grams. It has an under-display optical fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock.
The design is available in three finishes, with OPPO describing the Wave Blue and Sunrise Orange variants around a more expressive visual style, while Twilight Brown takes a more understated approach.
ColorOS 16.5 and Connectivity
The OPPO F35 Pro 5G runs ColorOS 16.5, based on Android 16 according to current product listings and launch reporting.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and USB Type-C. The phone supports dual nano-SIM cards, while eSIM and NFC are not supported according to OPPO’s official specifications.
The phone also includes dual speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor, making the overall package more suitable for multimedia and everyday use.

Should You Buy the OPPO F35 Pro 5G?
The OPPO F35 Pro 5G is clearly designed for users who want a combination of large battery endurance, smooth display performance and strong selfie capabilities.
The 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED panel gives the Pro model a significant advantage over the standard F35, while the Dimensity 7360 MAX and UFS 3.1 storage provide a more capable performance package.
The 50MP ultra-wide autofocus selfie camera with 4K recording is also a standout feature for social-media users and anyone who regularly shoots group selfies or front-camera videos.
At ₹45,999, however, the phone enters a competitive segment where buyers have several alternatives. Its value will largely depend on how much they prioritise the huge 8,000mAh battery, selfie camera and durability features over raw performance.
Overall, the OPPO F35 Pro 5G is a well-rounded F-series upgrade with a clear focus on display quality, battery endurance, group selfies and durability. For users who value those areas, it could be one of the more interesting OPPO launches of the year.
