Best wireless earbuds 2026

Buying wireless earbuds in 2026 is no longer simply about finding a pair that sounds good. Active noise cancellation, microphone quality, battery life, connectivity, comfort and features such as spatial audio can all make a difference depending on how you use them.

The good news is that there are strong options at almost every price point. From premium earbuds from Sony, Apple and Samsung to affordable models from boAt and Noise, these seven options cover different needs and budgets.

Sony WF-1000XM6

The Sony WF-1000XM6 is aimed at buyers who want a premium true-wireless experience, particularly when noise cancellation and sound quality are priorities.

Sony’s XM6 generation brings improvements to noise cancellation, audio processing and call quality, while continuing the company’s focus on high-resolution wireless audio. Sony’s India support pages confirm the WF-1000XM6 as part of its current truly wireless lineup.

The XM6 makes the most sense for people who spend a lot of time travelling, working in noisy environments or listening to music for long periods. It is a premium choice, so buyers should expect to pay considerably more than they would for mainstream budget TWS earbuds.

Apple AirPods Pro 3

For iPhone users, the AirPods Pro 3 is one of the most straightforward premium choices.

Apple currently lists the AirPods Pro 3 at ₹25,900 in India. They feature active noise cancellation, heart-rate sensing during workouts and up to eight hours of listening time. Apple also supports features such as Live Translation when the earbuds are paired with a compatible Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone.

The biggest advantage here is the Apple ecosystem. If you already use an iPhone, Mac or Apple Watch, the AirPods Pro 3 can fit naturally into your daily setup.

Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro

Android users, particularly Samsung Galaxy owners, have another premium option in the Galaxy Buds4 Pro.

Samsung lists the Buds4 Pro at ₹22,999 in India, with features including enhanced ANC, adaptive equaliser technology, Hi-Fi audio and Samsung’s new blade-style design.

Samsung has also focused heavily on comfort and stability with this generation. The company says the design was developed using extensive ear-shape data and simulations.

For Galaxy users who want premium audio and deeper integration with their phone, the Buds4 Pro is one of the strongest alternatives to Apple’s AirPods Pro 3.

Beats Powerbeats Pro 2

If your main priority is running or working out, the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 takes a different approach.

The earbuds use ear hooks that help keep them securely in place during exercise. Beats also includes heart-rate monitoring, making the Powerbeats Pro 2 particularly interesting for people who want workout tracking alongside their music.

In India, Beats lists the Powerbeats Pro 2 at ₹29,900, with colour options including Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple and Electric Orange.

They are more expensive than many conventional TWS earbuds, but their secure design makes them a compelling option for fitness-focused users.

boAt Nirvana Crown

Moving into the more affordable segment, the boAt Nirvana Crown offers a large set of features without reaching premium-earbud pricing.

boAt currently lists the Nirvana Crown at around ₹2,599, with features including up to 50dB hybrid ANC, boAt Spatial Audio, an Advanced Rotational Crown and Bluetooth 6.0.

The earbuds provide up to 40 hours of playback with the charging case when ANC is disabled, while ANC mode reduces the total playback time. They also have IPX4 water resistance.

For someone who wants ANC, spatial audio and a more distinctive design without spending ₹20,000 or more, the Nirvana Crown is worth considering.

Noise Buds N2 Pro

The Noise Buds N2 Pro is aimed at buyers who want useful features at a budget price.

Noise currently lists the earbuds at ₹1,799, with up to 70 hours of playtime, ANC of up to 32dB, quad microphones with ENC, dual pairing and Bluetooth 6.0.

It is also available in several colours, including Slate Black, Arctic Blue, Lunar Silver, Aurora Red and Desert Gold.

The combination of long battery life, ANC and dual-device connectivity makes the N2 Pro particularly attractive for everyday users who don’t want to spend too much.

boAt Airdopes Prime 512

At the budget end of this list, the boAt Airdopes Prime 512 focuses on basic everyday use while still offering a surprisingly capable specification sheet.

boAt currently lists the earbuds at ₹1,299. They feature 13mm drivers, IPX4 water resistance, Bluetooth 6.1, four AI-ENx microphones and up to 50 hours of total playback.

The earbuds also support BEAST Mode with 50ms low latency, making them useful for casual gaming as well as music and calls.

They are not designed to compete directly with Sony or Apple on premium audio, but for someone looking for inexpensive everyday earbuds, they make a practical choice.

Which Wireless Earbuds Should You Buy?

The best choice depends on what matters most to you.

If you want a premium overall experience, the Sony WF-1000XM6 is the option to consider. For iPhone owners, the AirPods Pro 3 makes the most sense because of its ecosystem integration, while Galaxy smartphone users should look closely at the Galaxy Buds4 Pro.

For running and workouts, the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 stands out because of its secure ear-hook design and heart-rate monitoring.

If you want premium-style features at a much lower price, the boAt Nirvana Crown offers ANC and spatial audio for around ₹2,600. The Noise Buds N2 Pro is another strong budget choice, especially if battery life is important. And if you simply want affordable earbuds for everyday listening, calls and casual gaming, the boAt Airdopes Prime 512 keeps the price low while offering modern connectivity and useful features.

The Bottom Line

There is no single pair of wireless earbuds that is perfect for everyone.

The Sony WF-1000XM6 and AirPods Pro 3 are aimed at premium buyers, while the Galaxy Buds4 Pro is particularly appealing to Samsung users. The Powerbeats Pro 2 makes more sense for fitness enthusiasts, and the boAt and Noise models offer significantly cheaper alternatives for everyday use.

Before buying, think about where you will use your earbuds most. If you travel frequently, prioritise ANC. If you work out, fit and water resistance matter more. And if you simply need reliable earbuds for music and calls, spending less may be the smarter decision.
